Casa Del Sol

Casa Del Sol is a large home with lots of room. The bedrooms are large and have adequate storage space. The King size bed in the master is soft and very comfortable. The bed in the back bedroom was pretty hard and not as comfortable. There is a third bedroom with two beds which we did not use. The bathrooms were not updated but were in good condition. The two large sofas in the living room were comfortable. There could be better lighting for those of us who like to read. There is a large smart TV in the living room and master bedroom. The third bedroom had a smaller TV with a ROKU. The eat-in kitchen was large with a generous island. Most everything you would need to prepare meals was supplied. The large appliances were in good working order. There were several smaller appliances to make meal prep easier. The third bathroom that opens to the outside pool area was very handy. The pool was clean and well maintained. A fire pit was near the pool with seating around. The outside, covered patio area was nice for sitting during the afternoon showers. A large table made it nice for eating outside. The second covered area was great for a barbeque or just conversing. At night there was adequate outside lighting in the backyard as well as cameras. It could be a bit noisy at times with cars and trucks coming and going since there seem to be several multi-units in the area. Being able to park in the garage was a plus. We enjoyed our stay.

The overall house and furnishings were not what we expected. The pictures made it look nicer than what it was. The Couches had stains and looked very worn. the outside patio needs to be painted and cleaned. The neighborhood is load with lots of traffic noise.

We loved the open layout, the airy feel of the home, the outside areas and the pool. This home was a hidden gem and our family loved it!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. It was very clean. Contacting the host was very easy. The fenced in yard was so nice for our Shih Tzus. The pool was the best part. We used it daily. The house was only 25 minutes from my sister’s home. We had a much needed relaxing vacation. Thank you so much for everything. Mark, Mindy, Rascal, and Milo.

We enjoyed our 10-day stay overall. The house was clean, the backyard was nice, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. The beach was also just a short drive away.
We’re giving 4 stars because there are a few things that could make an extended stay even better. A laundry basket, additional blankets, dressers/clothing storage in the bedrooms, and basic kitchen items such as salt and pepper would have been helpful. Pool floats would also be a nice addition. The beach items were somewhat outdated, and the kitchen and two of the three bathrooms are older and could benefit from updating. The surrounding homes are also older and dated, although that is outside the host’s control.
More garbage bags and toilet paper would have been helpful for a 10-day stay. The small hotel-style shampoo and conditioner bottles could also be replaced with dispensers.

My family enjoyed our stay. Lots of room & clean. We would stay again.

Our trip was centered around my grandson's baseball tournament in Cacti Park (about 20-25 minutes away). The property was clean and ready for use upon our arrival. The home worked well for us as there were 3 large bedrooms accomodating our needs. Beds were comfortable. Neighborhood was quiet. Added bonus was the mango trees in the yard and we had fresh mangos that were outstanding! We were there in July, so the temperatures were hot. We were able to enjoy the pool in between games. Walking distance to a park and about 10-15 minute drive to beaches. Really no complaints at all ... only thing we noticed was there were no kitchen towels available and the pool net needed replacing.

Location to beach was very good. The neighborhood was not the best. The house was laid out nicely and plenty of room to spread out. Furniture was very worn out though, living room set needs replaced. Pool guy showed up on the day we were checking out , would have been nice to have been serviced at beginning of our stay.
