We invite you to step back in time at this 1920s Spanish villa, an original gem from the early 1900s. Birds of Paradise is a HISTORICAL experience in old Florida charm. With hand-painted murals, antique fixtures, and original architectural details, the home reflects the unique character of its era. You may notice a few creaks in the floorboards or a faint scent of history in the air… these are part of the authentic charm of this historic property!
🚨 ACCESS TO THE COTTAGES IS BASED ON YOUR GUEST COUNT. NO COTTAGES ARE INCLUDED FOR GROUPS OF 10 OR LESS. If your guest count is 10 or less, you will only receive access to the MAIN HOUSE. ⚠️ The Cottages Become Available for Guest Counts 11 or More. Accurate Guest count is REQUIRED to confirm the number of cottages you receive access to. 🚨

Cottage #1 (Sleeps 3)

Cottage #2 (Upstairs, Sleeps 3)
– Bright and breezy with a queen bed, a full kitchen, an updated bathroom, and a charming outdoor bistro set.
Cottage #3 (Sleeps 2)
– Peaceful studio with a queen bed, a kitchenette, a private bathroom, and an outdoor seating area.

BEFORE YOU BOOK:
Things to Note:
– Check in start from 5 pm, check-out at or before 10 am.
– Accurate guest count is required at the time of inquiry or booking (additional charges may apply for additional guests)
– All guests are required to send a copy of their ID.
– Guests must be over 18 years old to book.
– The person booking must provide a valid government issued ID and a signed rental agreement is required upon booking.
– No pets allowed.
– No pool safety fence.
– The pool is NOT heated.
– Being an older home, please note there is no heating in the house. We do provide space heaters in every bedroom for those chilly days.
– Events welcome- Event fees and additional deposits may apply.
Event Fee & Requirements:
Our event fee is a flat rate of $1,800 for gatherings of 25–50 guests, or $1500 for gatherings of 20-25. Guests are responsible for post-event cleanup and must dispose of all trash in tied trash bags. An additional refundable security deposit is required. Lake Worth’s noise ordinance requires that music be turned down by 11:00 PM and moved indoors. All outside vendors must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the property address with $1M coverage. Guests must also purchase event liability insurance through EventHelper (approximately $100), with $1M liability and property coverage for the date of the event, and the property address listed on the certificate. Primary guest must be 21+ to book an event.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We booked this beautiful home to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday, and it was the perfect place for our group. The home was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.
The pool was definitely one of our favorite parts and was perfect for relaxing and celebrating together. We had such a great time and truly enjoyed every moment at the property.
The hosts were wonderful, responsive, and so kind throughout the entire process. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Florida. We would love to come back again in the future!

There are really great things about this place and some things that could use a little attention. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful home.
The good: The size of the home along with the cottages are perfect for a large group. The furnishings inside the home were very nice. The kitchen is huge and fully stocked with everything you need to cook and serve a large group. The pool is big and very clean. There are plenty of bathroom towels, pool towels, and pool floats. Plenty of cleaning supplies, dish detergent, and laundry detergent. Inside of the home was very clean. The host responded to all messages within about an hour with clear and kind communication.
The bad. The AC unit in the upstairs cottage does not cool well. The pool deck needs to be pressure washed and the outside couch cushions are very worn and stained. Description stated that there are beach chairs, but there was none, only a small umbr. The home gets warm in the evenings.

Beautiful accommodations for our girl cousin trip. The pool was clean and inviting. We were within a short drive to the beach and stores. The yard and pool area was private. We did have an issue with mosquitoes the first night and we called they had candles and bug spray sent right away- so I feel they were very responsive. We had beds for 15 people- not easy to find without splitting our party up. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this historic home!

We had a wonderful time at Birds of Paradise! The property was exactly as described and we had plenty of room to spread out and our own space. The team was very responsive & any issue was addressed and resolved immediately! I highly recommend this property. you won't be disappointed!

great location around beaches and access to a pool oasis. Tone of natural wild life like birds, native lizards and fresh mangoes growing overhead.

We had an incredibly meaningful weekend celebrating our daughter’s graduation from college. Having a large family it was so enjoyable to all be able to stay comfortably in the same space together . It was everything we could have hoped for . Thanks for being so responsive in communicating with us throughout the time we were there. It is a beautiful, historic home and the weather was perfect to enjoy the pool .

We had such a great stay here for a large group get-together. The house is super spacious with tons of character, which made it perfect for the big group. Everyone had plenty of room, and the layout worked really well for hanging out together. Communication with the hosts was also great-very responsive and easy to work with. We'd definitely com back!
